Our Catering Menus
Every Lahore wedding eats differently. A Raiwind Road barat wants deg-style pulao and karahi on the table before the dulha sits down. A DHA walima wants plated service and a live pasta counter. We build menus around the guest list, the hall's kitchen access and the Punjab one-dish rule, then cook on site so the food reaches the table hot.

One-Dish Menus
Punjab's one-dish rule applies to marriage halls and marquees, and we plan around it rather than argue with it. A typical one-dish service is a single main such as chicken biryani, mutton pulao or chicken karahi, served with salad, raita, naan or roti, and a dessert. Done properly it does not feel thin. We put weight into the main, use better cuts, and pay attention to the roti coming out fresh instead of stacked cold. One-dish catering in Lahore generally starts from around PKR 900 to 1,400 per head depending on the main you pick and the guest count.

Desi Menus
This is the core of what we cook. Chicken biryani, mutton pulao, chicken karahi, mutton qorma, chicken white qorma, nihari, haleem, daal makhani, aloo gosht, chicken jalfrezi, palak paneer, sabzi, plus raita, salad, achaar and fresh naan or roti. For bigger barats we cook in degs on site so the rice does not sit and dry out. Most families build a two or three dish desi menu with one rice, one gravy and one BBQ item, which lands comfortably in the mid range on per head cost.

BBQ and Live Counters
Seekh kebab, chicken tikka, malai boti, behari boti, chicken chops, fish tikka, gola kebab and mutton champ, grilled on site so guests smell it before they taste it. Live counters change the feel of an evening: a BBQ grill for barat, a chaat counter for mehndi, pasta or shawarma for a younger crowd, and a dessert or kulfi counter near the exit for the end of the night. Counters are priced separately from the main menu because they are staffed and served through the event.

Chinese, Continental and Arabic
Beyond desi we run chicken manchurian, chilli chicken, chicken chowmein, egg fried rice, hot and sour soup, chicken corn soup, garlic chicken and honey chilli potato on the Chinese side. Continental covers roast chicken, grilled fish, chicken steak with mushroom sauce, baked pasta, mashed potato and mixed grill vegetables. Our Arabic section, which has been on our menu for years, includes shish taouk, ruz bukhari, mandi dajaj, dajaj al faham and an Arabic BBQ mixed platter with the sauces and breads that go with them.

Desserts and Sweets
Kheer, gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun, ras malai, shahi tukra, firni, kulfi, fruit trifle, cream caramel and fruit salad. For walimas we often set a dessert table rather than serving one sweet, because guests eat less sugar at the end of a heavy meal but want the choice. Wedding cakes and cutting cakes are arranged on request and coordinated with your stage timing so the cake is not sitting under lights for two hours before it is cut.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you follow the one-dish rule?
Yes. In marriage halls and marquees across Punjab we plan a compliant one-dish service and put the budget into quality rather than quantity. For private lawns and farmhouses where the rule is applied differently, we advise you on what is workable for your specific venue and booking.
Can we taste the food before booking?
Yes. We arrange a tasting for confirmed enquiries so you can check the biryani, the gravy and the BBQ before you commit. Bring whoever is actually deciding, usually the parents, because opinions change once the food is on the table.
Can you cook at our home or farmhouse?
Yes. We cater at private residences, farmhouses, lawns and hotel gardens as well as marquees and banquet halls. We need water access, space to set the degs and grills away from the seating, and a clear path for service staff to move between kitchen and tables.
How is per head price calculated?
By menu composition and confirmed guest count. Rice and gravy items, the number of BBQ pieces per head, live counters and dessert choice all move the figure. Give us your guest number and budget per head and we will build a menu to it rather than sending a fixed package.
Send us your guest count and we will build a menu to your budget.
Tell us your date, venue and guest count. We will come back with an honest, written quotation.
