Lighting and Sound
Lighting is the difference between a hall and an event. The same marquee, the same stage and the same flowers photograph completely differently once the lighting is designed rather than switched on. We handle the full electrical side: entrance illumination, hall uplighting, stage wash, chandeliers, fairy canopies, plus sound for the nikah, the speeches and the dholki.

Stage and Backdrop Lighting
The stage is where every camera points, so it gets lit first. We wash the backdrop evenly so the floral wall reads in photographs without hot spots, then key the seating area so the bride and groom are lit from the front rather than shadowed by the backdrop wash. Warm white is the default for barat and walima because it flatters skin and gold. Cooler tones and colour washes work for mehndi and dholki where the mood is louder. We test the stage lighting before your photographer arrives, not after.
Hall Uplighting and Ambience
Uplights placed along the walls and pillars change the entire volume of a hall. In a plain banquet room they add depth where there is none. In a marquee they lift the fabric and hide the frame. We choose the colour to match your decor palette, typically warm amber and gold for traditional weddings, soft pink or lilac for mehndi, and clean white for modern white-theme setups. Table lighting, candle groupings and centrepiece spotting are set separately so the dining area is not left dim once the stage lights dominate.
Chandeliers and Hanging Installations
Crystal chandeliers, fairy light canopies, hanging floral clusters and draped ceiling treatments turn the roof of a marquee into part of the design. This is the single highest impact upgrade for a large tent, because a bare marquee ceiling reads empty in wide photographs. We rig these safely on the marquee frame or hall structure, load-checked, and take them down the same night or the following morning depending on your venue's handover time.
Entrance and Exterior Illumination
Your guests form their first impression outside the hall. We light the driveway, the entrance archway, the walkway and the exterior facade, with lit floral pillars or a lit tunnel where space allows. For barat entries we run focused lighting along the route the dulha walks, so the entry is captured properly on video instead of the camera fighting the dark. Generator backup is arranged for outdoor and farmhouse events where mains supply is not reliable.
Sound, DJ and Live Music
Speakers and mics sized to the hall, not oversized to a point where the nikah cannot be heard. We supply wireless mics for the nikah and the speeches, a mixing setup for the DJ, and monitors where a live band or qawwal party is performing. For dholki and mehndi we set the sound for dancing without deafening the seated elders at the back tables. Qawwali nights, live bands, dhol players and DJs are arranged on request and coordinated with your event timeline.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide generator backup?
Yes, for outdoor, farmhouse and lawn events where mains supply is uncertain we arrange generator backup sized to the lighting and sound load. For most banquet halls in Lahore the venue's own backup is sufficient, but we confirm capacity during the site visit.
Can lighting be booked without decor?
Yes. Many clients have a hall with fixed decor and only need the lighting redesigned, which is often the cheapest way to make a standard hall look premium. We survey the venue, quote for the lighting scope alone and install on the day.
Will the lighting suit our photographer?
That is exactly what we plan for. Over-coloured stage lighting ruins wedding photographs and video. We keep the stage and seating in flattering warm light and save the colour effects for the dance floor and ambience zones. Your photographer can speak to our team on site.
Do you arrange DJ and dhol?
Yes. DJs, dhol players, live bands and qawwal parties are arranged on request and slotted into your timeline so the nikah, the entry, the cake and the dinner do not collide with each other.
